I am very happy to announce that we have added two new features to our site the first one is a section where we can communicate back and forth which is called blogging. The other is a guest book so that when you we get a visitor at our website they can sign in.
We have a couple of events coming up:
1. November 15, 2008 we will be hosting a Judo Demonstration for blind and visually impaired children for more information visit www.nyc-napvi.org.
2. December 14, 2008 will be our Holiday Party for more information please visit www.nyc-napvi.org and you should be receiving the invitation this week.

The New York City Chapter of The National Association for Parents of Children with Visual Impairments is an organization that enables parents to find information and resources for their children who are blind or visually impaired, including those with additional disabilities in the NYC area. NYC-NAPVI provides leadership, support, and training to assist parents in helping children reach their potential.
